The Internet Society of Libya (ISOC Libya), in partnership with the Annir Initiative and the Internet Society, is excited to announce the commencement of the final preparations for the first-ever School on Internet Governance (Libya SIG). We have begun reaching out to the selected participants, and we eagerly await their confirmations. We were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and interest shown by the Libyan community, with over 200 applications received from all corners of the country. The selection process was rigorous and challenging, as each application demonstrated a high level of commitment and potential to contribute to the future of internet governance in Libya. With the school set to begin in less than nine days, on August 5, 2024, the anticipation is building.
